READ VALUE USING GTS

LANE DEPARTURE ALERT SYSTEM - Indicator Circuit


DESCRIPTION

The forward recognition camera sends indicator illumination request signals to the combination meter assembly via CAN communication.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1.PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS (LDA CONTROL INDICATOR)

  1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

  1. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

  1. Turn the GTS on.

  1. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Combination Meter / Active Test.

  1. According to the display on the GTS, perform the Active Test.

    		Diagnostic Note
    LDA Control Indicator
    		LDA control indicator light
    		ON or OFF

    The LDA control indicator light in the combination meter assembly turns on or off according to the operation of the Active Test.

2.READ VALUE USING GTS

  1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

  1. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

  1. Turn the GTS on.

  1. Enter the following menus: Chassis / LKA/LDA / Data List.

  1. Read the Data List according to the display on the GTS.

    		Control status of lane departure alert system/ Prohibit or Permit
    		Prohibit: Control prohibited
    Permit: Control permitted

    The lane departure alert indicator illuminates and turns on according to the operation of the lane departure alert main switch
