INSPECTION PROCEDURE

CHECK DTC OUTPUT (FRONT RECOGNITION CAMERA SYSTEM)

DTC U0100 Lost Communication with ECM / PCM "A"

DTC U0101 Lost Communication with TCM

DTC U0123 Lost Communication with Yaw Rate Sensor Module

DTC U0129 Lost Communication with Brake System Control Module

DTC U0142 Lost Communication with Body Control Module "B"


DESCRIPTION

These DTCs are output when a communication malfunction occurs between the sensors and ECUs.

While the vehicle is being driven at 1 km/h (1 mph) or more, a communication error between the ECM and the forward recognition camera is detected for 5 seconds or more.

While the vehicle is being driven at 1 km/h (1 mph) or more, a communication error between the ECM and the forward recognition camera is detected for 5 seconds or more.

While the vehicle is being driven at 1 km/h (1 mph) or more, a communication error between the yaw rate sensor and the forward recognition camera is detected for 5 seconds or more.

2 seconds after the engine switch is turned on (IG), a communication error between the skid control ECU (master cylinder solenoid) and the forward recognition camera is detected for 5 seconds or more.

2 seconds after the engine switch is turned on (IG), a communication error between the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) and the forward recognition camera is detected for 5 seconds or more.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1.CHECK DTC OUTPUT (FRONT RECOGNITION CAMERA SYSTEM)

  1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

  1. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

  1. Clear DTCs (Click here).

  1. Make sure that the DTC detection conditions are met.

    HINT:
    If the detection conditions are not met, the system cannot detect the malfunction.
    1. Turn the engine switch on (IG) and wait 7 seconds or more.
    2. Drive the vehicle at 1 km/h (1 mph) or more for 1 second or more.

  1. Check for DTCs (Click here).
