  1. REMOVE VALVE

  2. REMOVE VALVE STEM OIL SEAL

  3. REMOVE VALVE SPRING SEAT

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 STRAIGHT SCREW PLUG (w/ DPF)

  5. REMOVE NOZZLE HOLDER CLAMP SEAT (w/o DPF)

Cylinder Head -- Disassembly



1. REMOVE VALVE
HINT:
Arrange the valves, inner compression springs, valve spring retainers and valve spring retainer locks in the correct order.

  1. Place the cylinder head on a wooden block.

  1. Using SST, compress the inner compression spring and remove the valve spring retainer lock.

    SST
    09202-70020(09202-00010)

  1. Remove the inner compression spring, valve spring retainer and valve.



2. REMOVE VALVE STEM OIL SEAL

  1. Using pliers, remove the valve stem oil seal.



3. REMOVE VALVE SPRING SEAT


    Land Cruiser. Urj200, 202 Grj200 Vdj200

  1. Using compressed air and a magnetic finger, remove the valve spring seat by blowing air.



4. REMOVE NO. 1 STRAIGHT SCREW PLUG (w/ DPF)

  1. Remove the No. 1 straight screw plug and gasket.
