Front Bumper -- Installation |
- HINT:
- A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart (HILUX_TGN26 RM00000118R007X.html).
| 1. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH |
Attach the 2 claws to install the front bumper side support.
Install the bolt and screw.
| 2. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT RH |
- HINT:
- Use the same procedure described for the LH side.
| 3. INSTALL NO. 2 FRONT BUMPER RETAINER BRACKET |
Install the No. 2 front bumper retainer bracket with the bolt.
- Torque:
- 12 N*m{122 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf}
| 4. INSTALL NO. 1 FRONT BUMPER RETAINER BRACKET |
- HINT:
- Use the same procedure described for the No. 2 front bumper retainer bracket.
| 5. INSTALL RADIATOR SIDE DEFLECTOR LH |
Attach the claw to install the radiator side deflector.
Install the 3 clips.
| 6. INSTALL RADIATOR SIDE DEFLECTOR RH |
- HINT:
- Use the same procedure described for the LH side.
| 7. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER MOUNTING BRACKET |
- HINT:
- Use the same procedure for both front bumper mounting brackets.
Install the front bumper mounting bracket with the bolt.
- Torque:
- 12 N*m{122 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf}
| 8. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY |
Install the front bumper reinforcement with the 4 nuts.
- Torque:
- 67 N*m{683 kgf*cm, 49 ft.*lbf}
| 9. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT EXTENSION LH |
Attach the 2 claws to install the front bumper reinforcement extension.
| 10. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT EXTENSION RH |

- Use the same procedure described for the LH side.
| 11. INSTALL ENGINE SIDE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH |
Install the engine side cover with the 3 bolts and 2 clips.
- Torque:
- 12 N*m{117 kgf*cm, 8 ft.*lbf}

- HINT:
- Use the same procedure described for the LH side.
| 13. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER COVER |
w/ Fog Light:
Connect the 2 fog light connectors.
Attach the 6 claws to install the front bumper cover.
Install the 5 clips, 2 bolts and 2 screws.
Install the 3 clips and 6 screws.
| 14. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE |
Attach the 6 claws to install the radiator grille.
Install the 2 screws and 2 clips.
