Headlight Assembly Disassembly

  1. REMOVE NO. 1 HEADLIGHT BULB

  2. REMOVE FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT SOCKET

  3. REMOVE FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT BULB

  4. REMOVE CLEARANCE LIGHT SOCKET

  5. REMOVE CLEARANCE LIGHT BULB

  6. REMOVE HEADLIGHT BRACKET LH

Headlight Assembly -- Disassembly


HINT:
  1. Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
  2. The procedure listed below is for the LH side.


1. REMOVE NO. 1 HEADLIGHT BULB


    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25

  1. Remove the socket cover.

  1. Release the lock of the set spring and remove the No. 1 headlight bulb.



2. REMOVE FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT SOCKET


    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25

  1. Turn the front turn signal light socket in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration and remove the front turn signal light socket.



3. REMOVE FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT BULB

  1. Remove the front turn signal light bulb from the front turn signal light socket.



4. REMOVE CLEARANCE LIGHT SOCKET


    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25

  1. Turn the clearance light socket in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration and remove clearance light socket.



5. REMOVE CLEARANCE LIGHT BULB

  1. Remove the clearance light bulb from the clearance light socket.



6. REMOVE HEADLIGHT BRACKET LH


    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25

  1. Remove the 1 or 2 screws and headlight bracket LH.

    HINT:
    There are 1 or 2 screws depending on the date of manufacture.
