Air Conditioning Panel (For Manual Air Conditioning System) -- Removal |
| 1. REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY |
for Manual Air Conditioning System:
Put protective tape around the center instrument cluster finish panel.
Text in Illustration *1 Protective Tape Using a moulding remover, detach the 10 claws and 4 clips.
Detach the 4 claws and disconnect the air conditioner control.
Disconnect the connectors and remove the center instrument cluster finish panel.
for Automatic Air Conditioning System:
Put protective tape around the center instrument cluster finish panel.
Text in Illustration *1 Protective Tape Using a moulding remover, detach the 8 claws and 4 clips.
Disconnect the connectors and remove the center instrument cluster finish panel.
| 2. REMOVE COOLER SWITCH |

Detach the 2 claws.
Disconnect the connector and remove the cooler switch.
| 3. REMOVE NO. 2 HEATER CONTROL KNOB |
 |
Remove the No. 2 heater control knob as shown in the illustration.
| 4. REMOVE HEATER CONTROL KNOB |
 |
Remove the heater control knob as shown in the illustration.
| 5. DISCONNECT AIR INLET DAMPER CONTROL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY |
Detach the 2 claws and disconnect the air inlet damper control cable sub-assembly.

| 6. DISCONNECT HEATER CONTROL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY |
Detach the 2 claws and disconnect the heater control cable sub-assembly.
 |
| 7. DISCONNECT AIR MIX DAMPER CONTROL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY |
Attach the 2 claws to connect the air mix control cable sub-assembly.
 |
| 8. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY |
Disconnect the connector and remove the air conditioning control assembly.
