Front Seat Outer Belt Assembly (For Single Cab) -- Removal |
- HINT:
- Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
- The procedure listed below is for the LH side.
| 1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY |
for Separate Seat:

| 2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH |

Put protective tape around the rear door scuff plate.

Using a moulding remover, detach the 7 claws and 2 clips, and remove the rear door scuff plate.
| 3. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM LH |
Partially remove the front door opening trim LH so that the lower quarter trim panel LH can be removed (HILUX_TGN26 RM00000148O00YX_01_0034.html).
| 4. REMOVE LOWER QUARTER TRIM PANEL LH |
Remove the bolt and disconnect the seat outer belt floor anchor.

Using a clip remover, detach the 3 clips and remove the lower quarter trim panel LH.
 |
| 5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH |
 |
Remove the shoulder anchor.
Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and open the cover.
- HINT:
- Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
Remove the bolt and front seat outer belt shoulder anchor.
