Front Seat Assembly (For Separate Seat Type) Removal

  1. REMOVE INNER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER LH (w/ Cover)

  2. REMOVE SEAT TRACK COVER LH (w/ Cover)

  3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY

  4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY

Front Seat Assembly (For Separate Seat Type) -- Removal


CAUTION:
Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the parts may injure your hands.
HINT:
  1. Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
  2. The procedure listed below is for the LH side.


1. REMOVE INNER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER LH (w/ Cover)

  1. Lift up the seat track handle sub-assembly LH and move the seat to the foremost position.



    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25

  1. Using a moulding remover, detach the 2 claws and remove the inner seat track bracket cover LH.



2. REMOVE SEAT TRACK COVER LH (w/ Cover)


    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25

  1. Using a moulding remover, detach the 2 claws and remove the seat track cover LH.



3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the front seat headrest assembly.



4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY


    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25

  1. Remove the 2 bolts.

  1. Lift up the seat track handle sub-assembly LH and move the seat to the rearmost position.



    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25

  1. Remove the 2 bolts.

  1. Lift up the seat track handle sub-assembly LH and move the seat to the center position. Also, operate the reclining adjuster release handle LH and move the seatback to the upright position.

  1. Disconnect the connector and detach the wire harness clamp from under the seat.

  1. for Front Passenger Side, w/ Seat Belt Warning System:
    Disconnect the connector and detach the wire harness clamp from under the seat.

  1. Remove the front seat assembly from the vehicle.

    NOTICE:
    Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.
