This DTC is stored when a malfunction occurs in the speakers.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1.CHECK FOR DTC
  1. Disconnect the G129 and G128 radio and display receiver assembly connectors.

  1. Clear the DTC (HILUX_TGN26 RM0000011BU0J0X.html).

  1. Check if DTC B15C3 is output.

    OK:
    DTC B15C3 is not output.


NG
REPLACE RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY (HILUX_TGN26 RM000003OG900OX.html)
OK


2.CHECK FOR DTC
  1. Reconnect the G128 radio and display receiver assembly connector.

  1. Clear the DTC (HILUX_TGN26 RM0000011BU0J0X.html).

  1. Check if DTC B15C3 is output.

    OK:
    DTC B15C3 is not output.


NG
Go to step 7

3.CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER - FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER)
  1. Disconnect the G129 radio and display receiver assembly connector.

  1. Disconnect the H6*1 and/or I6*2 front No. 2 speaker connector.

    1. *1: for RH
    2. *2: for LH
  1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Standard Resistance:
    for RH

6.INSPECT FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY
  1. Temporarily replace the front No. 2 speaker with a new or normally functioning one (HILUX_TGN26 RM0000014T7034X.html).

  1. Check that the malfunction disappears.

    HINT:
    1. Connect all the speaker connectors to the speakers.
    2. When there is a possibility that either the right or left speaker is defective, inspect by interchanging the right one with the left one.
