Vane Pump (For Kd Series Engine) -- Removal |
| 1. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER |
Remove the 4 bolts and under cover.
| 2. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER |
Remove the 4 bolts and under cover.
| 3. REMOVE FRONT SIDE MEMBER TO FRONT SUSPENSION CROSSMEMBER BRACE |
Remove the 8 bolts and crossmember brace.
| 4. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL LH |
| 5. DRAIN POWER STEERING FLUID |
| 6. DISCONNECT OIL RESERVOIR TO PUMP HOSE |
Detach the 6 clips and remove the front fender apron seal LH.
Detach the clip and disconnect the hose.

| 7. DISCONNECT PRESSURE FEED TUBE ASSEMBLY |
Using a union nut wrench, disconnect the pressure feed tube from the vane pump.

| 8. REMOVE VANE PUMP ASSEMBLY |
Remove the 2 nuts and vane pump.
 |
Remove the O-ring.
