  1. TEMPORARILY INSTALL FRONT DISC BRAKE BLEEDER PLUG

  2. INSTALL PISTON SEAL

  3. INSTALL FRONT DISC BRAKE PISTON

  4. INSTALL CYLINDER BOOT

Front Brake (For 4Wd And Pre-Runner) -- Reassembly


HINT:
  1. Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
  2. The procedure listed below is for the LH side.


1. TEMPORARILY INSTALL FRONT DISC BRAKE BLEEDER PLUG

  1. Temporarily install the bleeder plug to the cylinder.

    HINT:
    The bleeder plug will be tightened to a torque specification in the Bleed Brake Line procedures.

  1. Install the cap to the bleeder plug.



2. INSTALL PISTON SEAL

  1. Apply a light coat of lithium soap base glycol grease to 4 new piston seals.

  1. Install the 4 piston seals to the disc brake cylinder.



3. INSTALL FRONT DISC BRAKE PISTON


    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25.Brake (Front).Front Brake (For 2Wd).Front Brake (For 4Wd And Pre-Runner) Reassembly

  1. Apply lithium soap base glycol grease to the 4 pistons and 4 new cylinder boots.

    		Lithium soap base glycol grease

  1. Install the 4 boots to the pistons.

  1. Install the 4 pistons (with the boots) to the cylinder.

    NOTICE:
    Do not forcibly install the pistons to the cylinder.


4. INSTALL CYLINDER BOOT


Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25.Brake (Front).Front Brake (For 2Wd).Front Brake (For 4Wd And Pre-Runner) Reassembly

  1. Install the 4 boots to the cylinder.

  1. Using a screwdriver, install the 4 set rings.

    NOTICE:
    Be careful not to damage the boot.
