Load Sensing Proportioning Valve (W/O Vsc) Removal

  1. DRAIN BRAKE FLUID

  2. DISCONNECT NO. 2 LOAD SENSING SPRING SHACKLE

  3. REMOVE LOAD SENSING PROPORTIONING VALVE ASSEMBLY

  4. REMOVE REAR FLEXIBLE HOSE BRACKET

  5. REMOVE LOAD SENSING VALVE BRACKET

  6. REMOVE LOAD SENSING SPRING ASSEMBLY

  7. REMOVE NO. 1 AND NO. 2 SHACKLES

  8. REMOVE LOAD SENSING SPRING BUSH & BOOT KIT

Load Sensing Proportioning Valve (W/O Vsc) -- Removal



1. DRAIN BRAKE FLUID
NOTICE:
Wash off brake fluid immediately if it comes in contact with any painted surface.


2. DISCONNECT NO. 2 LOAD SENSING SPRING SHACKLE


    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25
  1. Remove the bolt, collar and 2 load sensing valve bushes.

  1. Disconnect the No. 2 load sensing spring shackle from the rear differential.



3. REMOVE LOAD SENSING PROPORTIONING VALVE ASSEMBLY


    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25
  1. Using a union nut wrench, disconnect the 3 brake lines from the load sensing valve assembly.

  1. Remove the 3 bolts and load sensing valve assembly.



4. REMOVE REAR FLEXIBLE HOSE BRACKET


    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25
  1. Using a union nut wrench, disconnect the rear No. 9 brake tube from the rear brake flexible hose.

  1. Remove the clip.

  1. Remove the 2 nuts and 2 spring washers.

  1. Remove the rear flexible hose bracket and load sensing valve set plate from the load sensing valve assembly.



5. REMOVE LOAD SENSING VALVE BRACKET

  1. Remove the load sensing valve bracket from the load sensing valve assembly.

  1. Remove the 3 bolts.



6. REMOVE LOAD SENSING SPRING ASSEMBLY


    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25
  1. Using pliers, remove the clip and load sensing spring assembly from the load sensing valve assembly.



7. REMOVE NO. 1 AND NO. 2 SHACKLES
  1. Remove the bolt, nut, spring washer and 2 plate washers.

  1. Remove the No. 1 load sensing spring shackle (with No. 2 load sensing spring shackle) from the load sensing spring assembly.

  1. Loosen the lock nut.

  1. Remove the adjusting nut and No. 2 load sensing spring shackle from the No. 1 load sensing spring shackle.



8. REMOVE LOAD SENSING SPRING BUSH & BOOT KIT


    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25
  1. Remove the 2 No. 1 load sensing spring bushes and 2 No. 2 load sensing spring bushes, 2 collars and 2 dust seals from the load sensing spring assembly.

  1. Remove the load sensing valve boot and load sensing spring boot from the load sensing spring assembly.
