Brake Master Cylinder (For Tmt Made) -- Reassembly |
| 1. INSTALL BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER PISTON KIT |
Fix the master cylinder body in a vise between aluminum plates.
- NOTICE:
- Do not overtighten the vise.
Apply a light coat of lithium soap base glycol grease to the rubber parts as shown in the illustration.

Install the No. 1 and No. 2 pistons into the master cylinder body.
- NOTICE:
- Install the piston straight while being careful not to damage the inside of the cylinder.
- Do not damage the lip of the cylinder cup.
Push in the piston and install a new gasket and a new piston stopper bolt.
- Torque:
- 10 N*m{102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf}
Install the snap ring using snap ring pliers with the piston pushed in.
- NOTICE:
- Do not scratch the inside of the cylinder body.
| 2. INSTALL BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER RESERVOIR STRAINER |
Install the brake master cylinder reservoir strainer to the brake master cylinder reservoir assembly.
| 3. INSTALL BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER RESERVOIR FILLER CAP ASSEMBLY |
Install the brake master cylinder reservoir filler cap assembly to the brake master cylinder reservoir assembly.
| 4. INSTALL BRAKE FLUID INFORMATION LABEL |
| 5. INSTALL MASTER CYLINDER RESERVOIR GROMMET |
Apply a light coat of lithium soap base glycol grease to 2 new master cylinder reservoir grommets.

Install the 2 master cylinder reservoir grommets to the brake master cylinder reservoir assembly.
| 6. INSTALL BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER RESERVOIR SUB-ASSEMBLY |
Install the brake master cylinder reservoir sub-assembly to the master cylinder body.
Install the screw.
