  2. REMOVE TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY

Transmission Control Cable -- Removal

2. REMOVE TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY

  1. Move the shift lever to L.

  1. Disconnect the transmission control cable end from the shift lever.

  1. Remove the clip and disconnect the transmission control cable from the shift lever retainer.

  1. Remove the nut and clip and disconnect the transmission control cable from the automatic transmission.

  1. Remove the 2 nuts and disconnect the ground cable and transmission control cable support.



    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25

  1. Remove the 2 nuts, detach the 3 claws, and then pull out the transmission control cable.
