High Intensity Discharge Headlight Bulb - Installation

HIGH INTENSITY DISCHARGE HEADLIGHT BULB - INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL DISCHARGE HEADLIGHT BULB

Install the discharge headlight bulb.

  • NOTICE:
  • After the discharge headlight bulb is replaced, make sure that it comes on. Then, reinstall all the parts that were removed to replace the bulb.

Install a new headlight gasket.

  • NOTICE:
  • After the headlight gasket is removed, be sure to replace it with a new one. Failure to do this may cause water ingress.
2. INSTALL WASHER HOSE

Install the washer hose with the bolt.

  • Torque:
  • 5.5 N*m{ 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf}
3. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER (for 4GR-FSE)

Install the engine room side cover with the nut.

Install the 4 clips.

4. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER (for 2AD-FHV)

Install the engine room side cover with the nut.

Install the 3 clips.

5. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL
6. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
7. PERFORM INITIALIZATION

Some systems need initialization after reconnecting the cable to the negative battery terminal .
