Relay (For Sedan) -- On-Vehicle Inspection

1. INSPECT HEADLIGHT RELAY

Yaris. Ncp93, 131.Lighting (Ext).Lighting System (For Sedan).Relay (For Sedan) On-Vehicle Inspection

Check the resistance.
1. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals.
  Standard Resistance:
  Tester Connection
  Specified Condition
  3 - 5
  10 kΩ or higher
  3 - 5
  Below 1 Ω
  (Battery voltage applied to terminals 1 and 2)
  If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight relay.

2. INSPECT FOG LIGHT RELAY

Check the resistance.
1. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals.
  Standard Resistance:
  Tester Connection
  Specified Condition
  3 - 5
  10 kΩ or higher
  3 - 5
  Below 1 Ω
  (Battery voltage applied to terminals 1 and 2)
  If the result is not as specified, replace the fog light relay.
