  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (w/ Front Seat Side Airbag)

  2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY

  3. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY (for 60/40 Split Seat Type)

  4. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Fixed Seat Type)

  5. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH (for 60/40 Split Seat Type)

  6. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY (for Fixed Seat Type)

  7. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT

  8. REMOVE SPARE WHEEL COVER ASSEMBLY

  9. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM INNER PAD

  10. REMOVE DECK FLOOR BOX LH (w/ Grand Spare Tire)

  11. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE

  12. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM INNER COVER LH

  13. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH

  14. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

  15. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD LH

  16. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH

  17. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH

  18. REMOVE REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH

  19. REMOVE LAP BELT OUTER ANCHOR COVER

  20. REMOVE FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH

  21. REMOVE CENTER PILLAR LOWER GARNISH LH

  22. REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE COVER LH

  23. REMOVE FUEL LID LOCK OPEN LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  24. REMOVE FUEL LID LOCK CONTROL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY

Fuel Lid Lock Control Cable Assembly (For Sedan) -- Removal



1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (w/ Front Seat Side Airbag)
CAUTION:
Wait for 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable to prevent airbag deployment (YARIS_NCP93 RM000000KT10D1X.html ).


2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY


    Yaris. Ncp93, 131.Door Hatch.Hood (For Sedan).Fuel Lid Lock Control Cable Assembly (For Sedan) Removal

  1. w/Front passenger airbag:

    1. Using a clip remover, remove the clamp.

    2. Slide the slider and disconnect the airbag connector.

    3. Disconnect the buckle switch connector.



  1. w/o Front passenger airbag:

    1. Disconnect the buckle switch connector.

  1. Move the front seat to its most rearward position.

  1. Using "TORX" socket wrench E10, remove the 2 bolts from the front side.

  1. Move the front seat to its most forward position.

  1. Using "TORX" socket wrench E10, remove the 2 bolts from the rear side.

  1. Remove the front seat.



3. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY (for 60/40 Split Seat Type)

  1. Hold the front edge of the rear seat cushion cover pad and lift it up, as shown in the illustration, to disengage the 2 hooks.

    NOTICE:
    Hold the area around the hooks so as to avoid deforming the rear seat cushion frame.

  1. Pass the rear seat inner belt through the slit in the rear seat cushion cover pad, disengage the hook between the rear seat cushion cover pad and the rear seatback, and remove the rear seat cushion cover pad.



4. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Fixed Seat Type)

  1. Hold the front edge of the rear seat cushion cover pad and lift it up, as shown in the illustration, to disengage the 2 hooks.

    NOTICE:
    Hold the area around the hooks so as to avoid deforming the rear seat cushion frame.

  1. Pass the rear seat inner belt through the slit in the rear seat cushion cover pad, disengage the hook between the rear seat cushion cover pad and the rear seatback, and remove the rear seat cushion cover pad.



5. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH (for 60/40 Split Seat Type)

  1. Remove the rear seat outer belt from the rear seat shoulder belt guide.

  1. Pull the rear seatback lock release button and tilt the rear seatback forward.

  1. Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips and the rear seatback cover.

  1. Remove the 2 bolts, the 2 hooks and the rear seatback.



6. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY (for Fixed Seat Type)

  1. Remove the rear seat outer belt from the rear seat shoulder belt guide.

    HINT:
    Use the same procedure for both sides.

  1. Remove the rear center seat outer belt from the rear center seat shoulder belt guide.

  1. Remove the 3 bolts.

  1. Disengage the 3 hooks and remove the rear seatback.



7. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT

  1. Remove the luggage compartment floor mat.



8. REMOVE SPARE WHEEL COVER ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the spare wheel cover.



9. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM INNER PAD

  1. w/ Grand Spare Tire:
    Remove the luggage compartment trim inner pad.

10. REMOVE DECK FLOOR BOX LH (w/ Grand Spare Tire)
HINT:

11. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE

  1. Disengage the 8 claws and 2 clips and remove the rear floor finish plate.



12. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM INNER COVER LH

13. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH

14. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

  1. Remove the 2 screws.

  1. Disengage the 3 claws and remove the instrument panel under cover.



15. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD LH

16. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH

17. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH

19. REMOVE LAP BELT OUTER ANCHOR COVER

  1. Disengage the 3 claws and remove the lap belt outer anchor cover.



20. REMOVE FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH

  1. Remove the bolt and the anchor plate.

  1. Remove the bolt and the shoulder anchor.



  1. Disconnect the pretensioner connector.

    1. Using a screwdriver, release the locking button.

    2. Using a screwdriver, disconnect the pretensioner connector.

  1. Remove the 2 bolts, the 2 hooks and the retractor.



21. REMOVE CENTER PILLAR LOWER GARNISH LH

22. REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE COVER LH

23. REMOVE FUEL LID LOCK OPEN LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the screw.

  1. Disengage the claw and disconnect the fuel lid lock open lever sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.



24. REMOVE FUEL LID LOCK CONTROL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Disconnect the fuel lid lock control cable sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.



  1. Disengage the 5 clamps and remove the fuel lid lock control cable sub-assembly.

  1. Remove the fuel lid lock control cable sub-assembly by turning it counter-clockwise and pulling it, as shown in the illustration.
