Upper Instrument Panel (For Hatchback) -- Disassembly

1. REMOVE NO. 1 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT

Remove the 4 <A> screws and disengage the 4 guides and remove the heater to register duct.

2. REMOVE NO. 2 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT

Remove the 4 <A> screws and disengage the 4 guides and remove the heater to register duct.

3. REMOVE NO. 6 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT ASSEMBLY

4. REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY

Remove the 3 <A> screws and disengage the 3 guides and remove the instrument panel register.

5. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

Disengage the 3 hooks B to remove the instrument panel passenger airbag assembly as shown in the illustration.

6. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

7. REMOVE NO. 4 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side)

8. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL BOX

Disengage the 5 claws and remove the instrument panel box.
NOTICE:
Always replace the instrument panel box with a new one.

9. REMOVE NO. 1 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE

10. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL CUSHION

Remove the instrument panel cushion.
NOTICE:
Always replace the instrument panel cushion with a new one.

11. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL CUSHION

Remove the instrument panel cushion.
NOTICE:
Always replace the instrument panel cushion with a new one.

12. REMOVE NO. 3 INSTRUMENT PANEL CUSHION

Remove the 2 instrument panel cushions.
NOTICE:
Always replace the instrument panel cushion with a new one.

13. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL CUSHION (for Upper Side)

Remove the instrument panel cushion.
NOTICE:
Always replace the instrument panel cushion with a new one.

14. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL CUSHION (for Lower Side)

Remove the instrument panel cushion.
NOTICE:
Always replace the instrument panel cushion with a new one.

15. REMOVE NO. 5 INSTRUMENT PANEL CUSHION

Remove the instrument panel cushion.
NOTICE:
Always replace the instrument panel cushion with a new one.
