AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM (for Hatchback) - Heater Control Switch Circuit


DESCRIPTION

The No. 3 heater control sub-assembly (A/C switch*1, A/C LED*1, MAX HOT switch*2) is powered through the A/C fuse. The No. 3 heater control sub-assembly (A/C switch*1, A/C LED*1, MAX HOT switch*2) transmits operational signals of each switch to the air conditioning amplifier assembly.

NOTICE:
Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedures.
1.INSPECT NO. 3 HEATER CONTROL SUB-ASSEMBLY (A/C SWITCH, A/C LED, MAX HOT SWITCH)
  1. Inspect the No. 3 heater control sub-assembly (A/C switch*1, A/C LED*1, MAX HOT switch*2) (YARIS_NCP93 RM00000314R026X.html).

    1. *1: w/ Cooler
    2. *2: w/ PTC Heater

  1. Disconnect the D127 No. 3 heater control sub-assembly (A/C switch*1, A/C LED*1, MAX HOT switch*2) connector.

  1. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

3.CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NO. 3 HEATER CONTROL SUB-ASSEMBLY - AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY)
  1. Disconnect the D127 No. 3 heater control sub-assembly (A/C switch*1, A/C LED*1, MAX HOT switch*2) connector.

  1. Disconnect the D130 air conditioning amplifier assembly connector.

  1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
