  1. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER

  2. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK LOCK ASSEMBLY RH

  3. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK LOCK ASSEMBLY LH

  4. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY

  5. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT

  6. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK STOP BUTTON GROMMET

  7. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK LOCK RELEASE BUTTON

  8. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK COVER

  9. INSTALL REAR SEAT CENTER HEADREST ASSEMBLY

  10. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY

  11. INSTALL BENCH TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER

Rear Seat Assembly (For Hatchback Fold Down Seat Type) -- Reassembly


CAUTION:
Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the parts may injure your hands.


1. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER


    Yaris. Ncp93, 131.Seat.Front Seat Assembly (For Sedan).Rear Seat Assembly (For Hatchback Fold Down Seat Type) Reassembly

  1. Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type rear seatback cover to the separate type rear seatback pad with 12 new hog rings.

    NOTICE:
    1. Do not soil or scratch the separate type rear seatback cover.
    2. When installing hog rings, minimize wrinkles as much as possible.


2. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK LOCK ASSEMBLY RH


    Yaris. Ncp93, 131

  1. Install the rear seatback lock assembly RH with the 2 bolts.

    Torque:
    32 N*m{326 kgf*cm, 24 ft.*lbf}


3. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK LOCK ASSEMBLY LH
HINT:
Use the same procedure as for the RH side.


4. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Temporary install the rear seatback frame sub-assembly.

  1. Fasten the 2 zippers and engage the 2 hooks.

  1. Engage the hook to install the rear seatback frame sub-assembly.



5. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT


    Yaris. Ncp93, 131.Seat.Front Seat Assembly (For Sedan).Rear Seat Assembly (For Hatchback Fold Down Seat Type) Reassembly

  1. Align the protruding portion of the rear seat headrest support with the installation groove of the rear seat adjuster frame.

    1. Disengage the 12 claws to remove the 6 rear seat headrest supports.



6. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK STOP BUTTON GROMMET

HINT:
Yaris. Ncp93, 131
Use the same procedure for both sides.

  1. Engage the 2 claws to install the rear seatback stop button grommet.



7. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK LOCK RELEASE BUTTON

HINT:
Yaris. Ncp93, 131
Use the same procedure for both sides.

  1. Turn the rear seatback lock release button in the direction indicated by arrow to install it.



8. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK COVER

HINT:
Use the same procedure for the remaining parts.

  1. Engage the 4 claws to install the rear seatback cover.



9. INSTALL REAR SEAT CENTER HEADREST ASSEMBLY

  1. Install the rear seat center headrest assembly.



10. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY

  1. Install the 2 rear seat headrest assemblies.



11. INSTALL BENCH TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER

  1. Using hog ring pliers, install the bench type rear seat cushion cover to the bench type rear seat cushion pad with 44 new hog rings.
