1. INSPECT FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY (for Vehicle not Involved in Collision)

  1. Perform a diagnostic system check (YARIS_NCP93 RM000000XFE0D2X.html).

  1. With the front passenger airbag installed on the vehicle, perform a visual check. If there are any defects, such as those mentioned below, replace the instrument panel with a new one:

    1. Any cuts, minute cracks or marked discoloration on the instrument panel around the front passenger airbag.


2. INSPECT FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY (for Vehicle Involved in Collision and Airbag not Deployed)

  1. Perform a diagnostic system check (YARIS_NCP93 RM000000XFE0D2X.html).

  1. With the front passenger airbag removed from the vehicle, perform a visual check. If there are any defects, such as those mentioned below, replace the front passenger airbag, instrument panel or instrument panel reinforcement with new ones:

    1. Any cuts, minute cracks or marked discoloration on the front passenger airbag.
    2. Any cracks or other damage to the connector.
    3. Deformation or cracks on the instrument panel or instrument panel reinforcement.
