DESCRIPTION
When the transponder key is registered, the transponder key ECU assembly outputs the key registration condition by lighting up, blinking or turning off the security indicator.
WIRING DIAGRAM
INSPECTION PROCEDURE
1.PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM |
Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
Turn the ignition switch to ON.
Turn the tester on.
Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Immobiliser / Active Test.
Perform the Active Test according to the display on the tester.

2.CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TRANSPONDER KEY ECU - SECURITY INDICATOR LIGHT) |
Disconnect the D23 transponder key ECU connector.
Disconnect the D25 security indicator connector.
Measure the resistance.
- Standard resistance:

D23-8 (IND) - Body ground
| 10 kΩor higher
|
Reconnect the D23 transponder key ECU connector.
Reconnect the D25 security indicator connector.

3.INSPECT TRANSPONDER KEY ECU ASSEMBLY |
Measure the voltage.
