Luggage Compartment Door Lock (For Sedan) Inspection

Check operation of the door lock motor.

1. Move the door lock to the lock position.
   

Check the operation.

1. Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 3 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 2, than check that the unlocks.
   

   OK:

   Unlocks
   

   If the result is not as specified, replace the luggage compartment door lock assembly.
   

2. Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 2 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 3, than check that the locks.
   

   OK:

   Locks
   

   If the result is not as specified, replace the luggage compartment door lock assembly.
