  1. REMOVE LOWER STEERING COLUMN COVER

  2. REMOVE UPPER STEERING COLUMN COVER

  3. REMOVE UNLOCK WARNING SWITCH ASSEMBLY

Unlock Warning Switch (For Hatchback) -- Removal



1. REMOVE LOWER STEERING COLUMN COVER

  1. Release the tilt lever, and fully extend and lower the steering column.

  1. Remove the screw from the lower portion of the lower steering column cover.

  1. While turning the steering wheel to the right and left, remove the 2 screws.

  1. Disengage the 3 claws and remove the lower steering column cover.



2. REMOVE UPPER STEERING COLUMN COVER

  1. Disengage the claw and remove the upper steering column cover.



3. REMOVE UNLOCK WARNING SWITCH ASSEMBLY

  1. Insert the key into the ignition key cylinder.

  1. Disconnect the connector.

  1. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the 2 claws and remove the unlock warning switch.
