Transmitter Battery (For Hatchback) Replacement

for Type A:

1. Remove the transmitter housing cover (YARIS_NCP93 RM000001JHJ01NX_01_0001.html).
   

for Type B:

1. Remove the transmitter housing cover (YARIS_NCP93 RM000001JHJ01NX_01_0001.html).
   

for Type A:

1. Remove the door control transmitter module set (YARIS_NCP93 RM000001JHJ01NX_01_0002.html).
   

for Type B:

1. Remove the door control transmitter module set (YARIS_NCP93 RM000001JHJ01NX_01_0002.html).
   

for Type A:

1. Twist the coin in the direction of the arrow in the illustration, and remove the transmitter battery cover.
   





2. Remove the battery (lithium battery: CR2016).
   

   NOTICE:

   1. When replacing the transmitter battery, before starting work, remove static electricity that has built up in the body by touching, for example, the vehicle to prevent the door control transmitter module set from being damaged.
      
   2. Do not push the terminals with your finger.
      
   3. Do not use excessive force when prying up the battery (lithium battery: CR2016) as this may damage the terminals.
      
   4. Do not touch the battery with wet hands. Water may cause it to rust.
      
   5. Do not touch or move any components inside the transmitter as this may interfere with its proper operation.
      

for Type B:

1. Disengage the hook and remove the transmitter battery cover.
   





2. Remove the battery (lithium battery: CR2016).
   

   NOTICE:

   1. When replacing the transmitter battery, before starting work, remove static electricity that has built up in the body by touching, for example, the vehicle to prevent the door control transmitter module set from being damaged.
      
   2. Do not push the terminals with your finger.
      
   3. Do not use excessive force when prying up the battery (lithium battery: CR2016) as this may damage the terminals.

1. Install a battery (lithium battery: CR2016) with the positive (+) side facing upward, as shown in the illustration.

   1. When replacing the transmitter battery, before starting work, remove static electricity that has built up in the body by touching, for example, the vehicle to prevent the door control transmitter module set from being damaged.
      
   2. Make sure that the positive (+) side and the negative (-) side of the transmitter battery are correctly matched with the transmitter terminals.
      
   3. Do not bend the transmitter battery electrode during insertion.
      
   4. Keep the transmitter cover interior free of dust and oil.
      




2. Install the cover.
   

for Type B:

1. Install a battery (lithium battery: CR2016) with the positive (+) side facing upward, as shown in the illustration.
