1. INSPECT PARKING BRAKE SWITCH

  1. Check the resistance.

    1. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals.

      Standard resistance:

      Tester Connection
      		Switch Condition
      		Specified Condition
      1 - Ground
      		Released
      		Below 1 Ω
      1 - Ground
      		Pushed in
      		10 kΩ or higher
      If the result is not as specified, replace the parking brake switch.
