  1. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY

  2. LOOSEN PARKING BRAKE CABLE

  3. REMOVE REAR WHEEL

  4. REMOVE FRONT NO. 4 FLOOR HEAT INSULATOR

  5. REMOVE FUEL TANK COVER VENT CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY

  6. REMOVE NO. 3 PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY

  7. REMOVE NO. 2 PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY

1. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY

2. LOOSEN PARKING BRAKE CABLE

  1. Loosen the equalizer and lock nut.

    NOTICE:
    Do not reuse the loosened nut.


3. REMOVE REAR WHEEL


4. REMOVE FRONT NO. 4 FLOOR HEAT INSULATOR

  1. Remove the 2 nuts and the front No. 4 floor heat insulator.



5. REMOVE FUEL TANK COVER VENT CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Pinch and remove the clip as shown in the illustration.

  1. Remove the bolt and the fuel tank cover vent case sub-assembly.



6. REMOVE NO. 3 PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY

  1. Separate the parking brake cable from the parking brake equalizer

  1. Remove cable clamp A from the body.

  1. Remove the 5 bolts.

  1. Remove cable clamp B from the rear axle beam.

  1. Separate the No. 3 parking brake cable assembly from the rear disc brake operation lever.

  1. Insert an offset wrench 14 mm at the base of the parking brake cable as shown in the illustration to disengage the clip. Pull out the No. 3 parking brake cable assembly from the rear disc brake cylinder.

7. REMOVE NO. 2 PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY
