  1. INSTALL FRONT BRAKE FLEXIBLE HOSE

  2. BLEED BRAKE LINE

  3. BLEED CLUTCH LINE (for Manual Transaxle)

  4. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL

Front Brake Flexible Hose (For Hatchback) -- Installation



1. INSTALL FRONT BRAKE FLEXIBLE HOSE

  1. Install the flexible hose with a new union bolt and a new gasket.

    Torque:
    30 N*m{310 kgf*cm, 22 ft.*lbf}
    HINT:
    Install the flexible hose lock securely into the lock hole in the disc brake cylinder.

  1. Install the flexible hose and speed sensor with the bolt.

    Torque:
    29 N*m{300 kgf*cm, 22 ft.*lbf}
    NOTICE:
    Install the flexible hose and speed sensor without twisting them.

  1. Install the flexible hose with a new clip.

  1. Using a union nut wrench 10 mm, install the brake tube to the flexible hose while holding the flexible hose with a wrench.

    Torque:
    15 N*m{155 kgf*cm, 11 ft.*lbf}
    NOTICE:
    Use the formula to calculate special torque values for situations where a union nut wrench is combined with a torque wrench (YARIS_NCP93 RM00000482L007X.html).


2. BLEED BRAKE LINE

4. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL
Torque:
103 N*m{1050 kgf*cm, 76 ft.*lbf}
