  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  2. REMOVE CENTER LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL

  3. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH

  4. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH

  5. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL NO.1

  6. REMOVE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY

  7. SEPARATE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH

  8. SEPARATE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH

  9. REMOVE FRONT PILLAR GARNISH RH

  10. REMOVE FRONT PILLAR GARNISH LH

  11. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY

  12. REMOVE UPPER INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

  13. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  14. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

  15. REMOVE COLUMN HOLE COVER SILENCER SHEET

  16. REMOVE STEERING INTERMEDIATE SHAFT ASSEMBLY

  17. REMOVE STOP LIGHT SWITCH

  18. REMOVE STOP LIGHT SWITCH MOUNTING ADJUSTER

  19. SEPARATE BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER PUSH ROD CLEVIS

  20. REMOVE BRAKE PEDAL SUPPORT

  21. REMOVE BRAKE PEDAL

  22. REMOVE BRAKE PEDAL BUSH

  23. REMOVE BRAKE PEDAL PAD

Brake Pedal (For Sedan) -- Removal



1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL


2. REMOVE CENTER LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL

  1. Disengage the 2 claws and 2 clips and remove the instrument panel finish panel lower center.

14. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

15. REMOVE COLUMN HOLE COVER SILENCER SHEET

  1. Pull back the floor carpet, remove the 2 clips and remove the column hole cover silencer sheet.



16. REMOVE STEERING INTERMEDIATE SHAFT ASSEMBLY

  1. Loosen bolt A.

  1. Place matchmarks on the steering intermediate assembly and steering gear assembly.

  1. Remove bolt B and detach the steering intermediate assembly from the steering gear assembly.

  1. Place matchmarks on the steering intermediate assembly and steering column assembly.

  1. Remove bolt C and detach the steering intermediate shaft assembly from the steering column assembly.



17. REMOVE STOP LIGHT SWITCH

  1. Disconnect the connector from the stop light switch.

  1. Disconnect the wire harness clamp from the pedal support.

  1. Turn the stop light switch counterclockwise, and remove the stop light switch.



18. REMOVE STOP LIGHT SWITCH MOUNTING ADJUSTER

  1. Remove the stop light switch mounting adjuster from the pedal support.



19. SEPARATE BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER PUSH ROD CLEVIS

  1. Remove the brake pedal return spring.

  1. Remove the clip and the push rod pin and separate the push rod clevis from the brake pedal.



20. REMOVE BRAKE PEDAL SUPPORT


Yaris. Ncp93, 131

  1. Remove the 4 nuts and bolt and remove the pedal support.



21. REMOVE BRAKE PEDAL

  1. Remove the nut and brake pedal shaft and remove the brake pedal from the pedal support.



22. REMOVE BRAKE PEDAL BUSH

  1. Remove the 2 brake pedal bushes from the brake pedal.



23. REMOVE BRAKE PEDAL PAD

  1. Remove the brake pedal pad from the brake pedal.
