1. INSPECT FRONT LOWER SUSPENSION ARM

  1. As shown in the illustration, flip the ball joint stud back and forth 5 times before installing the nut.

  1. Using a torque wrench, turn the nut continuously at a rate of 2 to 4 seconds per turn and take the torque reading on the 5th turn.

    Torque:
    0.78 to 3.43 N*m{8 to 35 kgf*cm, 6.9 to 30 in.*lbf}

  1. Check for any cracks and grease leakage on the ball joint dust cover.
