Front Axle Hub Bolt (For Hatchback) Replacement

Remove the 2 bolts and separate the disc brake caliper assembly.

NOTICE:

Hang the caliper using a piece of string or the equivalent.

Place matchmarks on the disc and axle hub and remove the disc.

Using SST and a screwdriver or the equivalent to hold the axle hub, remove the hub bolt.

Install the washer and the nut onto a new axle hub bolt, as shown in the illustration.

Recommended Service Nut:

Thread Diameter	Thread Pitch
12.0 mm (0.472 in.)	1.5 mm (0.0591 in.)

HINT:

Recommended thickness of the washer is 5 mm (0.197 in.) or more.

Using a screwdriver or the equivalent to hold the axle hub, install the axle hub bolt by tightening the nut.

Align the matchmarks of the disc and axle hub and install the disc.

HINT:

When replacing the disc, select the position that gives the minimum disc runout.

Install the disc brake caliper onto the steering knuckle.

Torque:

107 N*m{1089 kgf*cm, 79 ft.*lbf}
