Oil Pump (For Hatchback) Reassembly

Coat 2 new clutch drum oil seal rings with Toyota Genuine ATF WS, and install them to the stator shaft assembly.

Coat a new front oil pump oil seal lip with MP grease.

Using SST, install the front oil pump oil seal to the front oil pump body.

Oil seal drive in depth:

-0.15 to 0.15 mm (-0.00591 to 0.00591 in.)

Coat the front oil pump driven gear with Toyota Genuine ATF WS, and install it to the front oil pump body with the marked side facing upward.

Coat the front oil pump drive gear with Toyota Genuine ATF WS, and install it to the front oil pump body with the marked side facing upward.

Using "TORX" socket wrench T30, install the stator shaft assembly with 10 "TORX" screws.

Torque:

9.8 N*m{100 kgf*cm, 87 in.*lbf}

Turn the front oil pump drive gear with 2 screwdrivers and make sure it rotates smoothly.

NOTICE:

Do not damage the oil seal lip.

Coat a new front oil pump body O-ring with Toyota Genuine ATF WS, and install it to the front oil pump body.
