| 1. PRECAUTION |
- NOTICE:
- After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work (YARIS_NCP93 RM00000482L007X.html).
| 2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL |
- CAUTION:
- Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
| 3. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY |
Remove the 2 <A> screws.

Disengage the claw and the guide and remove the instrument panel under cover.
| 4. REMOVE LOWER NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL (w/o Knee Airbag) |
Disengage the 5 clips and the 2 claws and remove the instrument panel finish panel.

| 5. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL (w/o Knee Airbag) |
Disengage the 2 clips and the 5 claws and remove the instrument panel finish panel.

| 6. REMOVE LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY (w/ Knee Airbag) |
| 7. REMOVE NO. 2 CLUTCH START SWITCH ASSEMBLY |
Disconnect the connector.
 |
Loosen the nut and remove the No. 2 clutch start switch assembly.
