  2. INSTALL OIL PUMP SEAL

1. REMOVE OIL PUMP SEAL

  1. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, remove the oil pump seal.



2. INSTALL OIL PUMP SEAL

  1. Using SST and a hammer, tap in a new oil seal until its surface is flush with the timing chain cover.

    SST
    09950-60010(09951-00250,09951-00410,09952-06010)
    09950-70010(09951-07100)
    NOTICE:
    Do not tap the oil seal at an angle.

  1. Apply a light coat of MP grease to the oil pump seal lip.

    NOTICE:
    Keep the lip free of foreign matter.
