    Yaris. Ncp93, 131.1Nz-Fe Emission Control.Emission Control System (For Sedan).Purge Valve (For Hatchback) Inspection

  1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Standard Resistance:
    Tester Connection
    		Condition
    		Specified Condition
    1 - 2
    		20°C (68°F)
    		26 to 30 Ω

    (Purge VSV)
    If the result is not as specified, replace the No. 1 vacuum switching valve assembly.


  1. Check operation of the purge VSV.

    1. Check that air does not flow from port E to port F.

    2. Apply battery voltage across the terminals.

    3. Check that air flows from port E to port F. If the result is not as specified, replace the purge VSV.
