1. REMOVE FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY |
Disconnect the fuel sender gauge connector.
Release the lock by sliding the fuel sender gauge upward, as shown in the illustration.
Disconnect the connector of the fuel pump harness.
Disconnect the fuel tube.
Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the 2 claws and remove the fuel filter and fuel pump from the fuel sub-tank.
Disengage the 2 claws and remove the fuel suction support from the fuel filter.
Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the 5 claws, and remove the suction filter with fuel pump from the fuel filter.
- NOTICE:
- Do not damage the fuel filter and suction filter.
- Do not remove the suction filter from the fuel pump.
- Do not use either the fuel pump or the suction filter if the suction filter is removed from the fuel pump.
Disconnect the fuel pump harness.
Remove the O-ring and fuel pump spacer.
