Engine Unit (For Hatchback) -- Installation |
| 1. INSTALL WIRE HARNESS CLAMP BRACKET |
Install the 2 wire harness clamp brackets with the 2 bolts.
- Torque:
- 10 N*m{102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf} bolt B
| 2. INSTALL BOOSTER VACUUM TUBE |
Install the booster vacuum tube with the 2 bolts.
- Torque:
- 9.0 N*m{92 kgf*cm, 80 in.*lbf}
| 3. INSTALL NO. 1 WATER BY-PASS PIPE |
Install the No. 1 water by-pass pipe through a new gasket with the 2 bolts and 2 nuts.
- Torque:
- 9.0 N*m{92 kgf*cm, 80 in.*lbf}
| 4. INSTALL GENERATOR ASSEMBLY |

Temporarily install the generator assembly with the fixing bolt.
Install the piping clamp with the bolt A and screw B.
- Torque:
- Bolt A:
- 9.8 N*m{100 kgf*cm, 87 in.*lbf}
 |
Temporarily install the fan belt adjusting slider with fan belt adjusting slider fixing bolt A and nut B.
 |
Move generator assembly toward the cylinder block and tighten nut B.
- Torque:
- 11 N*m{112 kgf*cm, 8 ft.*lbf}
Connect the connector and engage the clamp.
Install the wire harness to terminal B with the nut.
- Torque:
- 9.8 N*m{100 kgf*cm, 87 in.*lbf}
Install the terminal cap.
