  1. REMOVE GENERATOR ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 WATER BY-PASS PIPE

  3. REMOVE BOOSTER VACUUM TUBE

  4. REMOVE WIRE HARNESS CLAMP BRACKET

Engine Unit (For Hatchback) -- Removal



1. REMOVE GENERATOR ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the terminal cap.

  1. Disconnect the connector and the harness clamp.

  1. Remove the nut and disconnect the wire harness from terminal B.

  1. Remove the belt adjusting slider fixing bolt A, nut B and the belt adjusting slider.

  1. Remove the bolt A, screw B and the piping clamp.

  1. Remove the fixing bolt and the generator assembly.



2. REMOVE NO. 1 WATER BY-PASS PIPE

  1. Remove the 2 bolts, 2 nuts and the No. 1 water by-pass pipe.



3. REMOVE BOOSTER VACUUM TUBE

  1. Remove the 2 bolts and the booster vacuum tube.



4. REMOVE WIRE HARNESS CLAMP BRACKET

  1. Remove the 2 bolts and the 2 wire harness clamp brackets.
