Sfi System (For Sedan) -- Precaution


CAUTION:
When using the Techstream, observe the following items for safety reasons:
  1. Read its instruction books before using the Techstream.
  2. Prevent the Techstream cable from being caught on the pedals, shift lever and steering wheel when driving with the Techstream connected to the vehicle.
  3. When driving the vehicle for testing purposes using the Techstream, 2 persons are required. One person drives the vehicle, and the other operates the Techstream.
NOTICE:
  1. If the ECM is replaced, register the ECU communication ID for Immobiliser System (YARIS_NCP93 RM0000012FH00CX_02_0005.html).
  2. Perform initialization (throttle position) after replacing the throttle with motor body assembly or cleaning any throttle body components (YARIS_NCP93 RM000001CZ7012X_01_0013.html).
  3. Perform initialization (throttle position) after reconnecting the battery cable or replacing the ECM (YARIS_NCP93 RM000001CZ7012X_01_0013.html).
  4. Perform Reset Memory (AT initialization) when replacing the automatic transaxle assembly, engine assembly or ECM (YARIS_NCP93 RM000000W7F0HSX.html).
  5. Perform Registration (VIN registration) when replacing the ECM (YARIS_NCP93 RM000000PDT08NX.html).
HINT:
Initialization cannot be completed by only disconnecting and reconnecting the cable of the negative (-) battery terminal.
