  1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Standard Resistance:
    Tester Connection
    		Condition
    		Specified Condition
    Terminal E - Body ground
    		Always
    		Below 1 Ω
    If the result is not as specified, repair or replace harness or connector.

  1. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Standard Voltage:
    Tester Connection
    		Condition
    		Specified Condition
    Terminal B - Body ground
    		Always
    		11 to 14 V
    If the result is not as specified, repair or replace the harness or connector.

  1. Remove the wire harness from the room light assembly.

  1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Standard Resistance:
    Tester Connection
    		Condition
    		Specified Condition
    Terminal E - Light Busbar
    		Light switch OFF
    		10 kΩ or higher
    Light switch ON
    		Below 1 Ω
    Terminal CTY - Light Busbar
    		Light switch OFF
    		10 kΩ or higher
    Light switch in DOOR
    		Below 1 Ω
    Terminal B - Bulb Terminal
    		Always
    		Below 1 Ω
    If the result is not as specified, replace the switch base.

  1. Connect a (+) lead from the battery to terminal B and a (-) lead to light busbar.

  1. Check that the light comes on.

    OK:
    The light comes on.
    If the result is not as specified, replace the bulb.
