DESCRIPTION
When the glass breakage sensor detects that any door glass is tapped or broken, the sensor will set off an alarm for 57 seconds.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
1.READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM |
Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
Turn the ignition switch to ON.
Turn the Techstream on.
Select the item below in the Data List and then check that the indicator operates.

Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

6.INSPECT GLASS BREAKAGE SENSOR ECU ASSEMBLY (MICROPHONE OUTPUT) |
Reconnect the E108 glass breakage sensor ECU assembly, E109 glass breakage sensor microphone and E110 theft warning ECU assembly connectors.
Connect an oscilloscope to terminal 5 (GBSI) of the glass breakage sensor ECU assembly and body ground.
Turn the ignition switch to ON.
Check the signal waveform according to the condition(s) in the table below.

Replace glass breakage sensor microphone (COROLLA_ZRE142 RM000003CO800AX.html).
8.CHECK GLASS BREAKAGE SENSOR |
Check the glass breakage sensor operation (COROLLA_ZRE142 RM0000026P005SX.html).
Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
Turn the ignition switch to ON.
Turn the Techstream on.
Select the item below in the Data List and then check that the indicator operates.
