Theft Deterrent System -- Customize Parameters


HINT:
The following items can be customized.
NOTICE:
  1. After confirming whether the items requested by the customer are applicable or not for customization, perform customizing operations.
  2. Be sure to record the current settings before customization.
  3. When troubleshooting, make sure that the item in question is not set to "OFF" as a result of customization (Example: For the system, "the wireless function does not operate", first check that the wireless function is not set to "OFF", then perform troubleshooting).

CUSTOMIZE

  1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

  2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

  3. Turn the Techstream on.

  4. Enter the following menus: Customize Setting.

  5. Select the setting by referring to the table below.

  1. Passive Mode is a function that switches the theft deterrent system from the arming preparation state to the armed state 30 seconds after the key is removed from the key cylinder and all doors and luggage compartment door are closed, even if the doors are not locked by wireless or door key lock operation.
  2. In Passive Mode, if the following operations are not performed within 14 seconds after a door is opened during the armed state, the theft deterrent system will judge that condition as a theft and switch to the alarm sounding state.
    1. Unlock any door by key or wireless operation
    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON
    3. Open the luggage compartment door by key or wireless operation
