DESCRIPTION

This DTC is output when LIN communication between the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) and the steering lock ECU (steering lock actuator assembly) stops for more than 10 seconds.

NOTICE:
  1. If the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) is replaced, register the keys and ECU communication ID (COROLLA_ZRE142 RM000000QYF05AX.html).
  2. If the steering lock ECU (steering lock actuator assembly) is replaced, register the ECU code (COROLLA_ZRE142 RM000000QYF05AX.html).
1.CLEAR DTC

  1. Clear the DTC (COROLLA_ZRE142 RM000002XHS04WX.html).

  1. Disconnect the E36 and E39 ECU connectors.

  1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Standard Resistance:

    		Always
    		Below 1 Ω
    E36-10 (LIN) - Body ground
    		Always
    		10 kΩ or higher
