Exhaust Pipe Removal

Engine Hybrid System. Corolla. Zre142 Aze141
2Zr-Fe Intake Exhaust. Corolla. Zre142 Aze141

  1. REMOVE TAIL EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR

  3. REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY

Exhaust Pipe -- Removal



1. REMOVE TAIL EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY


    Corolla. Zre142 Aze141

  1. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 compression springs.

  1. Remove the tail exhaust pipe assembly from the 2 exhaust pipe supports.

  1. Remove the gasket from the front exhaust pipe assembly.



2. REMOVE HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR

  1. Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor connector.

  1. Remove the grommet and pull the sensor connector out of the cabin through the floor panel.

  1. Remove the wire harness clamp bracket and disconnect the wire harness clamp.

  1. Using SST, remove the heated oxygen sensor.

3. REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY


    Corolla. Zre142 Aze141

  1. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 compression springs.

  1. Remove the front exhaust pipe assembly from the 2 exhaust pipe supports.

  1. Remove the gasket from the exhaust manifold.
