- Use the following procedures to troubleshoot the key reminder warning system.
- The intelligent tester should be used in steps 3 and 5.

2.INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE |
Measure the battery voltage.
- Standard voltage:
- 10 to 14 V
If the voltage is below 10 V, recharge or replace the battery before proceeding to the next step.
3.INSPECT COMMUNICATION FUNCTION OF CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM (CAN) |
Use the intelligent tester to check if the CAN communication system (CAN) is functioning normally.
(ECU connected, communication line malfunctioning) If no code is output, proceed to A.
(ECU connected, communication line malfunctioning) If any code is output, proceed to B.
