TRANSMISSION CONTROL SWITCH - INSPECTION

1. INSPECT TRANSMISSION CONTROL SWITCH
Transmission Control Switch - Inspection. A960E AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. Lexus IS250 IS220d GSE20 ALE20

Connect the park/neutral position switch connector.

Disconnect the transmission control switch connector of the shift lock control unit assembly.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

  • Standard resistance:
  • Shift PositionTester ConnectionSpecified Condition
    S, "+" and "-"3 - 7Below 1 Ω
    Except S, "+" and "-"3 - 710 kΩ or higher

If the resistance value is not as specified, replace the transmission control switch.
