Air Conditioning Control Assembly -- Disassembly



1. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Air Conditioning System)


    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40

  1. Remove the 5 screws.

  1. Disengage the 4 claws and remove the air conditioning panel sub-assembly.

  1. Disengage the 4 claws and remove the ornament.



2. REMOVE CONTROL KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Air Conditioning System)
NOTICE:
When disassembling the air conditioning control assembly, eliminate static electricity by touching the vehicle body to prevent the components from being damaged.

  1. Disengage the 4 claws and remove the control panel case.

  1. Remove the 5 screws and heater control base sub-assembly.



  1. Driver Side:



    1. Disengage the 3 claws and pull the control knob sub-assembly to the position shown in the illustration.

      2. Camry. Acv40 Gsv40

    2. Disengage the 3 claws and remove the control knob sub-assembly.

      HINT:
      Remove the control knob sub-assembly and the dual push switch as a unit.


  1. Passenger Side:



      Camry. Acv40 Gsv40

    1. Disengage the 3 claws and remove the control knob sub-assembly.
