  1. INSTALL RELEASE CYLINDER BLEEDER PLUG

  2. INSTALL CLUTCH RELEASE CYLINDER KIT

Clutch Release Cylinder -- Reassembly



1. INSTALL RELEASE CYLINDER BLEEDER PLUG

  1. Install the bleeder plug to the cylinder body.

    Torque:
    8.3 N*m{85 kgf*cm, 73 in.*lbf}


2. INSTALL CLUTCH RELEASE CYLINDER KIT

  1. Install the bleeder plug cap to the bleeder plug.

  1. Install a new spring to the cylinder body.



    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40

  1. Coat the piston with lithium soap base glycol grease as shown in the illustration.

  1. Install the piston to the cylinder body.

    NOTICE:
    Be careful not to damage the inside of the cylinder body.

  1. Install the push rod to the cylinder body.

  1. Install the boot to the cylinder body.
