  1. Check the resistance.

    1. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals.

      Standard resistance:
      Condition
      		Tester Connection
      		Specified Condition
      LOCK
      		Between all terminals
      		10 kΩ or higher
      ACC
      		2 - 4
      		Below 1 Ω
      ON
      		1 - 2 - 4
      		Below 1 Ω
      5 - 6
      START
      		1 - 3 - 4
      		Below 1 Ω
      5 - 6 - 7
      If the result is not as specified, replace the ignition or starter switch.
