  1. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE

Vacuum Switching Valve (For Evap) -- Removal



1. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY


    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40

  1. Hold the front of the V-bank cover and raise it to disengage the 2 retainers on the front of the cover. Continue to raise the cover to disengage the retainer on the rear of the cover and remove the cover.

    NOTICE:
    Attempting to disengage both front and rear clips at the same time may cause the cover to break.


2. REMOVE NO. 1 VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE


    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40.2Gr-Fe Emission Control.Emission Control System.Vacuum Switching Valve (For Evap) Removal

  1. Disconnect the 2 vacuum hoses and No. 1 vacuum switching valve connector.



    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40

  1. Remove the bolt and No. 1 vacuum switching valve.
